However, as mental health counselors, we know that this time of year can also bring unique challenges and increased stress levels. We must prioritize our own well-being to ensure we can continue providing effective support to our clients. This article will explore practical strategies to help therapists stay healthy and maintain their well-being during the holiday season.

  1. Set Boundaries:
    As counselors, we are compassionate and giving individuals. However, setting boundaries during the holiday season is crucial to avoid burnout. Prioritize self-care activities and make time for relaxation, hobbies, and spending quality time with loved ones.
